Job summary

Vizient, Inc is seeking a senior software engineer to lead technical design and drive day-to-day engineering execution across AI-enabled and enterprise-scale applications. The role involves hands-on development, testing, deployment, and production support, with a focus on scalable APIs, services, and distributed systems.

You will mentor engineers and promote engineering standards while collaborating with Architecture, Security, and product teams.

Hands-on software development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and day-to-day engineering execution with hands-on contribution to development, testing and production support.
Design and develop scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services and distributed systems.
Translate requirements into technical designs and production-ready software.
Develop AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows using LLMs, RAG and external tools.
Build reusable components, services and integration patterns for scalability and efficiency.
Apply CI/CD practices, observability, performance, reliability and maintainability.
