Job summary
Vizient, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead technical design and drive hands-on software development for enterprise applications and AI-enabled solutions.
You will build scalable APIs and services, translate requirements into actionable plans, and mentor teammates to elevate engineering standards. You will develop AI-enabled workflows using large language models and RAG, with a focus on secure, observable, and reliable systems while collaborating with Architecture and Security teams
Qualifications
- Experience leading technical design and hands-on software development.
- Experience developing scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services.
- Experience with AI-enabled applications and LLM/RAG.
- Strong understanding of security, observability, CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and engineering execution with hands-on development.
- Design scalable enterprise applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and deployment plans.
- Develop AI-enabled applications using LLMs and RAG.
- Build reusable components and integration patterns.
- Apply engineering practices for automated testing, CI/CD, observability, reliability.
- Implement secure integration patterns and monitoring.
- Mentor engineers and conduct code/design reviews.
- Develop reusable AI capabilities for orchestration and tool integration.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and engineering teams.
