Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out molecular biology experiments in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Carry out sample receiving and help maintain sample storage.
• Perform nucleic acid extractions from a variety of sample types including cell pellets, virus, and stool in a Biosafety Level 2 lab.
• Perform PCR, qPCR, and dPCR.
• Perform DNA purification and prepare Sanger sequencing reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Work with team leaders and co-workers to ensure the turnaround time meets customer needs.
• Prepare buffers and related solutions.
• Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
