Qualifications

• BS or BA in Biological Sciences required.
• 1+ years of related lab experience.
• Experience in Sanger lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out molecular biology experiments in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Carry out sample receiving and help maintain sample storage.
• Perform nucleic acid extractions from various sample types in a BSL-2 lab.
• Perform PCR, qPCR, and dPCR.
• Perform DNA purification and prepare Sanger sequencing reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records; ensure turnaround times meet customer needs.
