Arena Realty Advisors is an active retail brokerage and development shop working across the Southeast — leasing former bank branches, Walmart outparcels, and freestanding retail; structuring NNN and ground lease deals; and executing build-to-suit projects for QSR, convenience, and auto retail tenants. We don’t just list properties. We buy them, develop them, and own them.
We’re looking for a retail leasing broker to grow with us — someone who wants to learn the ownership side of the business while earning market commissions on day one.
What You’ll Do
- Lease our in-house portfolio of retail assets across Florida and the Southeast
- Represent 3rd party landlord listings — shopping center space, outparcels, and single-tenant properties
- Run tenant outreach campaigns: canvassing national and regional retailers, franchisees, and tenant rep brokers
- Build and work relationships at ICSC and through direct retailer contact
- Learn deal structuring from the inside — site selection, underwriting, ground leases, and build-to-suit development
Who We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in commercial real estate — any asset class, any capacity. Leasing, sales, property management, analyst work, tenant rep — if you’ve been in the business and understand how deals come together, we want to talk
- Active real estate license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Hungry, self-directed, and comfortable on the phone — leasing is an outreach business
- Most importantly: a genuine desire to become an owner, not just a broker
What We Offer
- Market commission splits — you’re paid competitively from deal one
- A defined path to ownership — opportunities to co-invest and earn equity in real estate deals and partnerships as you prove yourself
- Direct mentorship from a broker/developer actively acquiring and developing retail properties — you’ll see the full lifecycle: acquisition, leasing, development, and disposition
- A growing pipeline of in-house assets and 3rd party listings, so you’re never starting from zero
- Exposure to NNN investment sales, ground lease structuring, and build-to-suit development — the skills that turn brokers into owners
Why This Matters
The brokers who build real wealth in this business are the ones who transition from earning commissions to owning assets. Most never get that chance because no one shows them how. Here, that’s the whole point. You’ll earn while you learn, and when the right deal comes along, you’ll have the opportunity to be in it — not just on it.
Qualifications

- Basic understanding of commercial real estate, retail leasing concepts, and financial terms related to lease transactions.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort learning industry-specific software and databases.
- Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in an office setting and take initiative on projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Interest in pursuing a career in retail real estate brokerage; Florida real estate license or intent to obtain one is preferred.
