Summary
United Democracy Project, the Super Pac affiliated with AIPAC, is hiring a Research Associate. The position would work with our multi‑member team, conducting research on Members of Congress and candidates running for the House and Senate.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on congressional candidates in races across the country using a variety of web‑based applications
- Search social media and web‑based sites for news and background information on candidates
- Produce research memos for internal staff and outside consultant consumption
- Direct involvement with our legal team, including working on communication “backups”
- Participate in campaign strategy and poll drafting meetings
- Produce daily political clips
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 1‑2 years relevant experience
- Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility as needs and priorities change
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook preferred
- Familiarity with Lexis‑Nexis and social media platforms a plus
- Commitment to a strong US‑Israel relationship is a must
Salary
AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $52,000.00 and $58,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three.
