Job summary
Ultimate Staffing Services in Alameda, CA is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to lead development and optimization of biophysical and biochemical assays for hit identification in early drug discovery. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus five years of related experience; or
- Associate's degree in related discipline plus seven years of related experience; or
- High School Diploma/GED plus nine years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop, optimize and execute small molecule compound profiling and HTS biochemical and biophysical assays.
- Contribute to design, planning, and execution of HTS campaigns and mechanism of action studies.
- Independently nominate, evaluate, and implement new technologies, protocols, and workflows to support discovery programs.
- Collaborate with internal groups to discuss and resolve project needs.
- Present data to department head/manager and project teams, and communicate results clearly.
