Job summary

Prellis Biologics, Inc. in Berkeley, CA, seeks a Principal Associate Scientist/Scientist for High Throughput Screening to drive lead antibody discovery using fast, end-to-end screening of primary cells.

You will work across cross-functional teams to optimize ELISA and cell-based assays, scale screening strategies, and apply emerging platforms. The role emphasizes automated workflows, data quality, and collaboration with Engineering, Discovery, Production, and AI/ML groups to accelerate

Qualifications

• Hands-on ELISA and on-cell or cell-based assays experience.
• Experience isolating/enriching B cells or plasma cells.
• Strong written and verbal communication in scientific settings.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end primary cell screening from immunization campaigns.
• Develop and optimize primary screens (ELISA and cell-based assays).
• Scale high-throughput screening strategies for binder discovery.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies and workflows.
• Develop and optimize automated workflows for data quality and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Antibody Protein Engineering, Discovery, Production, and Data Science teams.
• Independently manage multiple projects with timely data delivery.
• Maintain accurate ELN documentation and communicate results.
