Job Summary

The Associate Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring the highest level of customer service and support. This is a business development role providing client support and engaging in activities that support the Private Client Group. The role involves partnering with teammates and key product partners to deliver excellent service to clients.

Pay Range: $73,626 - $95,714 - $117,801

Note: Pay range details for local minimum wage are not specified.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to client inquiries regarding accounts, analyze issues, and coordinate with other departments as needed. Serve as liaison to the Private Client Services (PCS) group for transaction requests.
  2. Support the development of client relationships by assisting in business development efforts, onboarding new clients, and identifying client needs.
  3. Contribute to sales efforts through pre-call planning, managing marketing materials, client proposals, pitch books, and prospect lists.
  4. Oversee daily customer and risk reports, including new account reports, activity summaries, significant changes, large deposits, detailed transactions, Oasis reports, and month-end summaries. Market or cross-sell products and services as appropriate.
  5. Ensure compliance with KYC/AML laws, monitor and report findings, and maintain data integrity for customer accounts. Perform other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance policies, complete required trainings, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) or foreign equivalent, with 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Experience in a commercial banking environment.
  • Knowledge of financial products, services, and compliance requirements.
  • KYC-AML certification or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related banking experience in a similar role.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, proactive in relationship management.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, driving, or infrequent lifting, with moderate exertion.
