As part of Flagstar's Private Bank, the Relationship Manager works to provide personalized banking services to high net worth customers with a white glove service approach.Job Responsibilities:
This role will realistically pay a base salary between $85,000-$115,000, plus an annual performance-based bonus, to be determined based on individual qualifications and geographical location.
Responsible for all aspects of account management, including new account opening, follow-up, communications, and maintenance. Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current clients to maintain goodwill and gain additional business; handles sensitive client relationships and larger client needs.
Assists with the development of relationships including sales efforts. Acts as the primary contact for new commercial loan requests and renewals to ensure completeness of loan documentation on new account set-up (BRLOC, Personal Lines of Credit, Reserve LOC). Coordinates efforts with the client, back office, and attorneys as needed to close/fund the loan request.
Analyzes problems and questions for clients; researches and responds accordingly; may coordinate with other departments as needed. Coordinates and assists back office personnel in resolving credit problems, delinquent payment issues, and other related matters. Promotes other products and services as appropriate to customer needs.
Responsible for handling the group’s overdraft decisions daily unless a higher signing authority is required. Ensures reconciliation of general ledgers and compliance with wire transfer policies and requirements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a 2-year related secondary school degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services providing high-level support to clients.
Strong knowledge of financial products & services, including lending and cash management.
Successful in exploring business development opportunities. A current book of business to expand is preferred.
Ability to make independent decisions, assessing and balancing risk.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage others where required.
