The Partner Relationship Manager (Retailers) is the focal point between Spring Systems and our retailer partners. This person will develop relationships with buyers and vendor management at major retailers.

This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing strategic partnerships with external companies (retailers), achieving mutual business goals by fostering strong relationships, identifying new opportunities for collaboration, maximizing referrals from the retailer, and ensuring partner satisfaction through effective communication and ongoing support. Essentially, this role acts as a liaison to maximize the value of the partnership.

Sales - This person will also seek new business opportunities with existing retail partners and develop sales opportunities with new retailers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Partner - Relationship management: Regular communication with key decision-makers at major retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy's, Walmart, Neiman Marcus, etc., to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Partner - Verify successful onboarding of new customers as vendors are integrated with these retailers.
  • Sales – Explore new opportunities with existing retailer partners.
  • Sales - Prospect, develop, and close business opportunities with new retailers.
Mandatory skills:
  • 2+ years sales experience, selling to retailers (e.g., apparel or other vendor sales)
  • Teamwork and good communication skills
  • Four-year university/college degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to visit customers and prospects in New York City and the tri-state area
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
Additional helpful skills (not mandatory):
  • Previous apparel, retail, logistics, or import business experience
  • ERP software sales experience
  • 2+ years team management skills
