Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Associate Relations Representative for the 2nd shift in Lafayette, IN. The role focuses on applying policies consistently to ensure fair treatment and coaching leadership on labor relations and workplace matters on the manufacturing floor.

You will participate in onboarding, investigate concerns, bridge communication gaps, assist with filing complaints, and act as a liaison between HR and operations on safety, benefits, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification; Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, follow up on announcements/communications, conduct investigations, and develop reports to support the AR Section.
• Coach and advise leadership on collaboration, relations, environment, policies, and procedures.
• Be present on the Manufacturing floor and participate in onboarding of new associates.
• Bridge communication gaps by building rapport with coverage area.
• Assist associates with filing of complaints, investigate concerns, and recommend resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Serve as liaison between HR and operations on benefits, safety, health, and security.
• Act as spokesperson for the company's position regarding unions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
