Job summary

Barnard College seeks an Associate Registrar for Graduation & Compliance to lead compliance reporting and graduation procedures. You will analyze services and implement technology to streamline workflows, contributing to the Registrar’s leadership team and managing the transition to Workday Student.

The role requires substantial experience in registrar functions, FERPA oversight, and collaboration with academic departments to ensure accurate degree audits and timely NSC reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years in higher education registrar or closely related office.
• Experience with graduation, degree audit and NSC reporting.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel; familiarity with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee graduation application and clearance; review seniors’ major/minor completion.
• Prepare materials and support Chairs and Department Managers throughout processes.
• Manage review of General Education requirements for seniors and coordinate with Senior Class Dean.
• Update student degree audits upon request.
• Oversee reporting of enrollment and degree status to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and resolve errors.
