Job summary

Barnard College is seeking an Associate Registrar for Graduation & Compliance to oversee graduation processes, compliance reporting to external agencies, and a transition to Workday Student. This role will work closely with the Registrar’s leadership team to ensure smooth operations and accurate degree data.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 6+ years in a registrar’s office, and strong data analysis, FERPA, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of higher education registrar experience preferred.
• Experience with graduation and degree audits and NSC reporting.
• Proficiency with Ellucian Colleague, Slate and Workday Student.
• Strong communication, analytical and data skills.
• Experience with FERPA and handling sensitive records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee graduation application and clearance processes.
• Review General Education requirements and update degree audits.
• Process senior requests for reduced course loads and manage degree dates.
• Oversee NSC/NSLDS reporting and ensure accuracy.
• Act as FERPA subject matter expert and provide training.
