Job summary

Washington National Cathedral seeks an Associate Director of Prospect Development to provide strategic leadership for prospect management, research, portfolio analysis, and moves management. You will ensure data integrity, guide fundraising strategy, and lead cross-team collaboration to grow a strong donor pipeline for individuals and foundations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Certification or training in research methods desirable.
• Minimum of seven years in fundraising operations focusing on prospect research and management.
• Proficiency in relational databases for donor systems (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Donor Perfect).
• Experience with wealth screening tools (Wealth Engine, ResearchPoint, iWave, Lexis-Nexis).

Responsibilities

• Lead prospect management, moves management, and pipeline development for major gifts.
• Prepare up-to-date research briefings for staff and leadership.
• Manage research profiles and moves management guidance for Development staff.
• Utilize Raiser's Edge and research tools to identify and research prospects.
• Develop portfolio assignments and create pipeline reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with Directors to shape engagement strategies and donor strategies.
