Johnson Controls is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our fire sprinkler project management team in Raleigh. You will assist planning, execution, and closeout of projects, coordinating activities across field teams, customers, and vendors while managing schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes organization, customer focus, and hands-on learning across project management, cost tracking, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in fire sprinkler industry or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination of fire protection projects.
• Maintain project records, track milestones, and assist with cost tracking and forecasting.
• Coordinate documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
• Attend project meetings and distribute notes and action items.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on job sites.
• Provide timely customer and team communications and status updates.
