Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Wilson, NC is seeking an Associate Project Manager responsible for delivering project results on time, within budget and scope to specifications. The role covers potential sites and facilities, and supports larger capital programs as needed.

The position emphasizes managing cross-functional teams, budgets, reporting, and process improvements, with opportunities to develop PM skills through training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Leads non-technical/business support projects from initiation to closeout, including planning, implementation, and monitor-and-control.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of intangible factors.
• Defines scope and objectives or provides site support of project systems.
• Coordinates resources across one or more projects and manages budget.
• Prepares and presents progress status reports for management.
• Facilitates business process improvement in transactional and reporting activities.
• Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders to coordinate efforts across multiple groups.
• Collaborates and communicates with other business analysts/project managers and leaders.
• Efficiently manages both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
• Responds to operational issues and information requests within defined areas of responsibility.
• Identifies and eliminates obstacles to solutions, plans, and implementations.
• Monitors project performance to maintain quality of services, deliverables, and content. Develop project budgets.
• Continues to develop Project Management skills via training, seminars and certifications.
• Supports development of site project management processes and standardization of tools/templates.
