Job summary

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC (dba QUES), a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project planning, budgeting, documentation, and coordination at project sites and offices.

You will work under Project Managers, assisting with plan development, subcontractor coordination, and reporting. 1–3 years of construction PM experience is preferred; CAPM is desirable. Location is Anderson, CA, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years managing construction projects independently.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Knowledge of construction processes, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Foreman, Superintendent, Engineers, and Subcontractors to determine project needs.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring expenses.
• Assist in planning and implementing construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
• Assist in obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Track project progress and prepare detailed reports on milestones and goals.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
• Attend meetings and communicate project status to all participants regularly.
• Help resolve any issues that arise during construction and elevate to senior management as needed.
