Job summary

PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support Project Managers on electrical utility construction projects. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, coordinating subcontractors, and documenting progress.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of independent construction project experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera. This position reports to Project Managers and offers potential growth within a dynamic field team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years managing construction projects independently.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Knowledge of construction processes, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with foreman, superintendent, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project needs.
• Assist in budget development and monitoring expenses.
• Assist in planning and implementing construction projects.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure health, safety compliance and report issues.
• Assist in obtaining permits and licenses.
• Track progress and prepare milestone reports.
• Maintain contracts, drawings, and correspondence.
• Attend meetings and report project status.
• Resolve construction issues and escalate as needed.
• Work under supervision; participate in decisions but not final authority.
• Rely on mentorship from Project Management.
• Participate in client meetings and general communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
