Moonshot in Denton, TX is seeking a Project Manager to plan, execute, and close projects on time, within budget, and aligned with approved scope and quality standards.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes across multiple initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 to 7+ years of project management experience, strong methodologies knowledge, and proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or Asana.

Moonshot is hiring a Project Manager to plan, execute, and close projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved scope and quality standards.

This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project risks, communicates with stakeholders, and drives successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across departments
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards

Risk, Budget & Change Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Manage project budgets and resources
• Oversee change management processes

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Facilitate meetings and communicate status updates
• Manage stakeholder expectations
• Track KPIs and report status to leadership

Project Closeout

• Conduct project closeout activities and lessons learned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3 to 7+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Agile, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 certification.
• Relevant industry experience.
