Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Associate Project Audit Manager to support the project audit function from our St. Louis area office.

The role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and evaluating project financials and operations to identify risks and opportunities, under the direction of senior audit leadership. You will review budgets, forecasts, and project documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help develop preliminary audit observations and remediation plans while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in construction operations, project controls, project accounting, finance, auditing, or related field.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management/reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare project audits by gathering financial, operational, contractual, and compliance documentation.
• Perform detailed reviews of budgets, forecasts, labor productivity, cost reports, and billing records.
• Analyze job costing, WIP schedules, forecast accuracy, revenue recognition, and margin trends.
• Review contracts, change orders, time-and-material authorizations, POs, and subcontract agreements.
• Identify audit findings, control deficiencies, compliance concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare audit workpapers, analyses, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Develop preliminary audit observations and summarize risks for leadership review.
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership to validate audit observations and ensure remediation.
