Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Project Audit Manager to lead audits of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through close-out, focusing on cost controls, billing accuracy, and compliance. You will work closely with operations, safety, and finance to strengthen controls and improve project outcomes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to deliver clear, actionable audit findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years in construction auditing, project controls, operations, or financial oversight.
• Experience in large project construction operations and job costing.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes project audits across preconstruction, active construction, and close-out phases.
• Applies standardized audit methodologies, risk criteria, and reporting frameworks.
• Supports continuous improvement of audit processes, tools, and reporting consistency.
• Performs detailed reviews of project budgets, forecasts, labor productivity, procurement, billing, and cost performance.
• Analyzes job costing, revenue recognition, and Work-in-Progress schedules to identify discrepancies or risks.
• Validates change orders, time-and-material work, and subcontractor invoices with proper approvals.
• Evaluates field execution for alignment with contracts, standards, and safety expectations.
• Collaborates with operations, safety, and finance teams to strengthen control environments.
• Prepares audit findings with risk assessments and recommendations.
• Maintains audit files and tracks remediation efforts with project teams.
