Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking an Associate Program Manager to lead a large-scale residential energy efficiency program in Illinois. The role requires 3–5 years in program management, strong leadership, and experience with energy efficiency in residential and multi-family sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the energy efficiency sector.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency for residential and multi-family buildings.
• Excellent client interfacing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program and staff, ensuring timely and successful delivery of services.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and partners at various levels to ensure program success and address concerns.
• Monitor program performance, conduct regular assessments, and identify improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and marketing, to ensure cohesive program execution.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on program progress and impact to clients and senior management.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and electrification.
• Monitor program budgets, track expenses, and assist in meeting financial goals.
