The combination of a rapidly evolving industry and our high ambitions means there’s going to be some ambiguity along the way, but we excel when we challenge ourselves. We’re willing to take risks, fail fast, and do it all over again in the pursuit of excellence.

If you have a good attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done, PitchBook is the place for you.

About the Role:

As a member of the Editorial team, you will spend each day immersed in the private markets, aiming to help our customers be better investors, advisors, and market participants. The work you will do plays a direct role in the evolution of the industry!

Everyone on our team is supported by a flexible work environment and a culture that promotes curiosity, collaboration, and professional development. We prioritize recognition and respect across all roles and have a high level of camaraderie. The fast-growing nature of our organization provides ample opportunity to advance in your career and explore what interests you.

As we continue investing in the talent of our group, our coverage has evolved rapidly over multiple industries and geographies. Our insights are routinely cited by top-tier publications and sought after by prominent players in the financial markets. In addition to publishing timely market insights, we also partner closely with our Product, Engineering, and Data Operations teams to continually enhance our datasets and develop unique tools that have a material impact on our customers’ workflows. There is no better time to join us!

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Program Manager with a focus on the production of PitchBook and white-label research publications. In this role, you will help coordinate the end-to-end process of turning innovative research into published documents—ensuring that each step, from ideation to final release, is executed seamlessly. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2+ years of project management experience, a strong understanding of publishing processes, and the ability to work cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling and execution of content delivery, ensuring all outputs meet deadlines and align with strategic priorities
  • Develop and refine workflows to optimize efficiency, reduce delays, and support seamless handoffs between contributors
  • Serve as the primary liaison between analysts, editors, designers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth production processes
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a positive approach to managing complex projects and fostering collaboration, especially in stressful situations
  • Track project timelines, monitor progress against milestones, and ensure resource allocation aligns with delivery needs
  • Anticipate potential delivery challenges and proactively develop solutions to address them
  • Continuously assess and improve content production processes to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability
  • Track and report on content delivery metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders for future improvements
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred understanding of private and public financial markets. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts in this space
  • 2+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within content production, publishing, or research environments
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end content creation process, including scheduling, workflows, and delivery mechanisms
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with program management tools (e.g. Asana, Smartsheet)
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying potential workflow issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Ability to analyze production metrics and translate data into actionable insights for process improvement
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and to adopt new methods or technologies that enhance production efficiency
  • Meticulous approach to overseeing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness in content delivery
