Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. They oversee project design, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery from inception to completion. The role may include managing external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership, governance, and communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from senior leadership
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Identify and escalate gaps in implementation and compliance
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
• Collaborate with other units within the organization
