Job description



Join forces with Advantage Technical and we can connect you with a leader in innovative medical devices seeking a dedicated Associate Production Technician to join their team. This role is pivotal to operating and maintaining highly automated and advanced manufacturing equipment necessary for the production of signature products. Join our client's mission to simplify life with revolutionary products and make a positive impact on the lives of people.



Pay: $26.40/hr.

Schedule: 2:30pm - 10:30pm



Key Responsibilities:



  • Set up, operate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain raw material feeds and clear faults or stoppages on automated machinery.

  • Use HMIs to monitor and adjust process controls for efficiency and quality.

  • Prepare materials and manage job timing to ensure on-time production and delivery.

  • Execute equipment inspections and generate work orders for maintenance needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, safety, and process inefficiencies.

  • Use computer systems for inventory and quality management tasks.

  • Support new product launches, including process and equipment validations.

  • Perform routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and measurement of equipment.

  • Work independently or in teams, maintaining GMP standards and a clean, safe environment.


Qualifications:



  • Three years of on-the-job manufacturing experience.

  • Experienced in debugging, maintaining, and operating highly automated equipment and working with HMIs.

  • Proficient in using manufacturing instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and optical gauging tools.

  • Background in medical device manufacturing, cleanroom environments, and discrete component assembly with technologies like laser or ultrasonic welding.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automated machinery, production processes, and quality control techniques.

  • Effective problem-solver with understanding of root cause analysis and solid math skills, including basic arithmetic and algebra.

  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude, attention to quality, and ability to work independently in fast-paced settings.
