Job summary

BIP Capital seeks an Associate Product Owner for its Wealth Tech team to support CRM platform development, backlog management, writing user stories and release notes, and coordinating with engineering and stakeholders. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited for an early-career product professional eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Hybrid role is based in Buckhead/Atlanta, with on-site days as required.

Qualifications

2–4 years of product development, project coordination, or Agile/Scrum experience with software products.
Experience with wealth management, fintech, or related tech roles is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog under guidance, ensuring high-value work remains in focus.
Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and draft release notes for stakeholders.
Serve as the face of the Jira Service Desk, triage requests and meet SLA targets (24–48 hours).
Participate in grooming and sprint planning; keep backlog 1–2 sprints ahead with ready work.
Perform QA and validate features before release; ensure defects are minimal.
Own small-to-medium features end-to-end from epics to release.
Engage with engineers and stakeholders to foster clear communication and UI adoption.
Manage cross-system requirements and third-party integrations; maintain traceability.
Collect feedback during sprint reviews to inform backlog prioritization.
Support documentation: process flows, guides, internal docs.
Assist in identifying opportunities to build AI solutions with engineering.
