Job summary

BIP Ventures is seeking an Associate Product Owner to join our technology team in a hybrid Atlanta-area role. You will support backlog management, write user stories, and help maintain our Jira Service Desk while collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of product development or Agile experience, familiarity with Jira/Confluence/Rally, and an interest in finance/venture capital concepts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in product development, project coordination, or Agile/Scrum teams with software or web products.

Responsibilities

• Backlog support: maintain and prioritize product backlog under senior guidance.
• User story & release note writing: craft clear stories with acceptance criteria; draft release notes.
• Jira Service Desk management: triage requests with 24–48h SLA and escalate as needed.
• Sprint participation: grooming and planning to keep backlog 1–2 sprints ahead.
• QA & feature validation: perform acceptance testing to ensure proper functionality.
• Small-to-medium feature delivery: own end-to-end delivery from epics to release.
• Stakeholder engagement: liaison between engineering and business stakeholders.
• Multi-system requirements management: manage requirements across 3+ systems.
• Feedback collection: capture stakeholder feedback to inform backlog priorities.
• Documentation: assist in creating process flows and internal guides.
