Job summary

There’s Only One Place is seeking an Associate Product Owner to assist the Product Owner in delivering customer value. You will focus on backlog support, requirement definition, and cross-functional coordination while growing your product management skills and domain knowledge.

In this role, you will write and refine user stories, participate in sprint planning, and help track progress. You’ll collaborate with developers, QA, design, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in product, business analysis, project coordination, or Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the development team to clarify requirements and gather feedback on work in progress.
• Supports backlog refinement and prioritization activities.

• Assists in coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate updates.
• Participates in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Supports validation and testing efforts to ensure requirements are met.
• Documents product requirements, decisions, and updates to maintain alignment across teams.
• Assists in gathering and summarizing customer feedback and product performance insights.
• Conducts research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor products to support product decisions.
• Stays current on relevant tools, technologies, and Agile best practices.
• Performs responsibilities that regularly involve in-person collaboration based on business needs, with reasonable accommodations provided in accordance with applicable laws.
