Associate Producer — Consciousness Feature Documentary (Los Angeles) Part-time / Project-based

This is a Contracted position in the field of Production Coordinator / Project Management, located in Los Angeles, CA.

Feature documentary at the intersection of consciousness, biohacking, and human self-understanding. We're in production and are looking for an experienced Associate Producer to help drive the film across the finish line. You'll work closely with the director to manage the production and post‑production pipeline with a particular focus on music and composer relations, talent coordination, contract negotiation, vendor coordination, and research. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in the late‑stage energy of a film coming together.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and managing contracts with composers, sound designers, and post vendors
• Music supervision support and score coordination
• Production research (neuroscience, clearances, subject‑related sourcing)
• Keeping post schedule on track toward picture lock
• General production coordination across editor, composer, and director

Experience

• 3–5+ years in documentary production or post (AP credit preferred)
• Experience with music licensing, composer agreements, or sync clearances — a strong plus
• Comfort working directly with a director in a lean, independent production
• LA‑based with availability for in‑person collaboration
• Genuine interest in consciousness, science, or human potential

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Project-based.
