Job summary

Unilever's Associate Process Engineer role supports the North American Beauty and Wellness R&D team in scaling up manufacturing processes for hair care and skin care innovations. You will work with R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain to translate lab work into production, ensuring quality and safety across pilot and contracted plants.

The position requires a BS in chemical engineering, strong collaboration, and solid communication skills, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy manufacturing processes for scale-up into Unilever plants.
• Produce laboratory and pilot plant batches for scale-up.
• Document experimental details and results thoroughly.
• Construct process flow diagrams highlighting critical parameters.
• Perform safety assessments for raw materials handling.
