Job summary

Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Investment Platform seeks an Associate for the Private Secondaries Group, focusing on PSG Platform Strategy and Management. The role coordinates deal teams and internal functions to execute complex secondary transactions and drive platform growth.

You will help design processes, enhance infrastructure, and support strategic initiatives across the PSG to improve efficiency and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in financial services, with preference for operations, transaction management, middle office, or deal execution roles in wealth/asset management or private investing.
• Proven track record of managing complex operational workflows, deal closings, or settlement processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to bridge deal teams and support teams.
• Strong project management skills with an efficiency-focused mindset and ability to balance timelines.
• Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across global functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage complex secondary transactions from launch to close.
• Coordinate across deal teams and support functions (Operations, Legal, Compliance, Technology).
• Design and improve workflows, controls, and procedures to boost efficiency and reduce risk.
• Manage stakeholders including fund managers, custodians, transfer agents, and external partners.
• Support adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies across transactions.
• Scale PSG platform by partnering with leadership, Technology, and vendors.
