Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Principal to serve as both a technical leader and a key contributor to the firm’s continued growth. This individual will lead project teams, oversee complex structural designs, and play an active role in client development and relationship management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of large, complex structural projects
• Oversee and mentor teams of engineers and BIM/modeling staff
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
• Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and market sectors
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes
• Support overall project execution including scheduling, coordination, and quality control

• Strong background in steel and concrete structural systems
• SE license required
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering projects
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships
• Strong technical expertise with a recognized area of strength (market or system type)
• Experience with seismic design and California codes preferred
• Exposure to DSA or HCAI/OSHPD projects is a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
