Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Structural) in Los Angeles, CA to lead design and delivery of complex building structures. The role emphasizes steel and concrete systems, collaboration with architects, contractors, and consultants, and coordination across internal and external teams.

You will perform structural analysis, prepare docs with BIM teams, support scheduling and field coordination, and help drive project leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
  • Experience with steel, concrete, wood, etc.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis/design tools (ETABS, RAM, RISA or similar).
  • PE license required or in progress; SE license a plus.
  • Familiarity with seismic design and California building codes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types, with emphasis on steel and concrete systems.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents alongside BIM/modeling teams.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and consultants throughout all phases of design.
  • Support project leadership with scheduling, coordination, and technical execution.
  • Assist with construction administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.

Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of complex building structures. This individual will be heavily involved in technical design while also supporting coordination efforts across internal teams and external partners.
