Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer in Chattanooga, TN, to manage, design, and detail building structures in collaboration with a larger team. You will liaise between design professionals and the firm’s Principals, select structural systems, and perform analyses and design calculations.

The role requires a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, a PE license, and experience with RAM/RISA and REVIT. Join a firm offering overtime, bonuses, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing building structures.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Engineering design skills in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
• Familiar with design codes.
• Experience in producing construction documents (drawings and specs).
• RAM or RISA analysis software experience.
• Fluent in REVIT.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

We have extensive experience with healthcare, educational, institutional, recreational, commercial, hospitality, industrial, religious, and residential uses; and are equally adept at renovation, renewal, adaptive reuse, and new construction. We deliver design through fast - track, design - bid - build, design - build, and public / private / partnership to best serve the Owner. We also provide component design and construction engineering services - including shoring, bracing, load path verification, delegated design, value engineering, and bid consultation - as well as forensic, performance, and due-diligence investigations, condition assessments, and feasibility studies.

Job Details
