Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Associate Project Manager for on-site work in Juno Beach, FL. The role focuses on early-stage development of high-voltage transmission and substation projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, supply chain, and regulatory tasks to ensure execution-ready plans.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, prepare RFPs, and support financial models while identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Zero to five years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with budget oversight.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and project scheduling tools.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission or substation project development is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive project plans with a focus on cost, schedule, and execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, estimating, supply chain, land, environmental, regulatory, and legal departments.
• Manage the integration of project scope, scheduling, and budget requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive RFP packages to source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services.
• Support estimating teams by providing detailed scope definitions and assumptions for financial models.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular progress, issue, and risk updates to leadership.
• Act as liaison with local, national, and international agencies and regulating entities.
