Blue Cross NC seeks an Associate Counsel to support PBM services, including the NC State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees. The role bridges health care, pharmacy benefit administration, and government programs, providing guidance across enterprise operations.

The candidate will advise on PBM contracts, regulatory requirements, privacy, and data governance, while supporting audits, vendor management, and strategic initiatives within a highly regulated landscape.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited law school required.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• Licensed to practice law

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of PBM contracts and related legal requirements.
• Review PBM-related materials and provide legally supportable guidance to business partners.
• Advise on interpretation and application of PBM contractual requirements.
• Serve as legal counsel supporting Blue Cross NC's PBM business and State Health Plan contract.
• Advise on privacy, data governance, and regulatory requirements affecting PBM services.
• Support implementation and administration of PBM initiatives, vendor integrations, reporting processes, and operations.
• Advise on privacy, security, and information-sharing requirements applicable to PBM services and Plan operations.
• Support responses to audits, investigations, and regulatory requests.
• Assist with public records requests and protection of confidential information.
• Monitor developments affecting PBM and health programs and communicate practical implications.
