Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am). The PCA delivers direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of an RN, ensuring a clean, orderly environment and promoting patient and family satisfaction.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, BLS, and within 90 days Crisis Prevention Institute training for psychiatric units.

Necessary Skills

• Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all of the healthcare team.
