Job summary

Walmart is seeking an Associate Optometrist in Eden Prairie, MN to partner with the Vision Center Manager and advance eyecare access. You will deliver evidence-based vision care, prescribe medications, and participate in community outreach while maintaining strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• Post-graduate year one (PGY-1) in area of emphasis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications per guidelines.
• Evaluate patients and perform comprehensive eye examinations.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate referrals to ophthalmologists.
• Maintain patient history and records in vision-center systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with the community.
