The role combines clinical exams, treatment planning, and patient education while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations and Walmart policies. You will engage with patients and collaborate with pharmacists and store leadership to ensure seamless care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• Post-graduate year one (PGY-1) in area of emphasis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and store associates on eye health and safety factors.
