Job summary

LensCrafters in Mobile, AL is seeking an Associate Optometrist to lead clinical care and deliver the brand promise through collaboration with store leadership. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and plan treatment while ensuring top patient service and outcomes.

Responsibilities include partnering with the MOD, SMM and team, managing KPI targets, staying current with Optometry theory and technology, and mentoring staff to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree required.
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry, including Billing and Coding.
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
• Strong communicator and listener.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinic operations and KPI management in partnership with the store team.
• Deliver high-quality Optometric care and patient service.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on protocols.
• Maintain state licensure and Continuing Education requirements.
• Support medical practice, referrals, and post-op care as applicable.
