Job summary

Vicor is seeking an Associate Engineer to support development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment for power component packaging.

The role involves collaboration with NPI, Quality and Design teams to drive robust manufacturing products in a continuous improvement environment, with hands-on equipment involvement and problem-solving to improve yield and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Co-op or internship experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with IATF 16949, PPAP, BIQ, FTQ a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive changes with legacy and new technology products to improve yield, uptime, and cost.
• Monitor line yield, scrap, and equipment utilization daily; rework as needed.
• Write qualification reports and present findings for peer review.
