Job summary

Vicor Corporation seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to own key aspects of the product lifecycle, from concept through RTP. You will define specifications, guide NPI, and drive validation of power modules and systems for leading edge applications.

You will collaborate with sales, design, and field teams to deliver technical collateral, reference designs, and customer-ready solutions. A strong background in analog power, scripting, and high-density PCB design will be valuable.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MS EE preferred.
5+ years of experience in power electronics design and/or applications.
Strong understanding of analog design and analytical engineering approach.
Proficiency in software for power electronics design and simulation (MATLAB, LTspice, SIMPLIS, Altium).
Experience with high-density PCB design concepts (HDI) and PDN design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Strategic Product Definition: translate market and customer requirements into technical specs.
Lead new product development activities from concept to RTP.
Develop test plans, validation benches, and automation to verify power systems.
