Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Manufacturing Engineer in Canoga Park, CA to support production of high-reliability electronic hardware for Tactical Satellite equipment. You will help establish work instructions, process controls, and tool qualification while collaborating with IPTs to transfer products from Engineering to Production.

The role emphasizes cost estimation, labor standards, continuous improvement, and NPI support, with a 9/80 schedule and opportunities for growth in

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering, or recent graduate.
Experience with soldering and basic electronic manufacturing processes.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools, strategies, and systems.
Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
Interface with engineering to coordinate the release of new products.
Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
Maintain records and reporting systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.
Work with IPTs to oversee development and transfer of new products from Engineering to Production.
Create work instructions, routings, and establish labor/cycle time standards.
Support corrective actions to address non-conformances.
