Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA seeks an Intern, Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of cable assemblies, PCBAs, and complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You will help establish work instructions, develop new manufacturing methods and processes, and assist with NPI and continuous improvement.

The role involves collaborating with IPTs, estimating costs, and maintaining labor standards. Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees with CAD and basic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering or related field.
• Preferred candidates may have coursework or experience in manufacturing environments and be eligible for internship programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting production of cable assemblies, PCBA test, and complex electro-mechanical assembly integration.
• Establish work instructions, create new manufacturing methods and processes, and develop procedure docs.
• Assist senior engineers with NPI, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
