Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist Manufacturing Engineer to support space hardware manufacturing, including CCAs, microelectronics, and RF assemblies. The role emphasizes engineering support, process development, and ensuring producibility across complex assemblies.

You will lead manufacturing tasks on the floor, drive improvements, and collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to optimize build strategies and tooling for cost and quality efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience or graduate degree with 4+ years.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and hardware such as CCAs and RF assemblies.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Direct support on the production floor for manufacturing tasks.
• Provide technical manufacturing expertise and process improvement.
• Develop and support new methods to improve operations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield and quality issues.
• Interface with design and manufacturing teams to ensure producibility.
