Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Manager of Community Operations to keep our apartment communities running smoothly, oversee maintenance, and deliver five-star service that makes our communities feel like home.

You will lead a team, manage budgets and rent performance, hire and coach staff, and partner with property leadership to improve operations. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years people management experience.
• 3+ years operational experience in luxury multifamily setting.
• Demonstrated coaching and development ability.
• BA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence.
• Experience using ResMan, Yardi, or similar platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and diligently monitoring aged delinquency. Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning.
• Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $65,000- $70,000/year.
• In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.
