Job summary

Ergobaby in Torrance, CA is seeking an Associate Manager, Production & Logistics to lead end-to-end production and distribution for baby and children's products. You will coordinate with Pre-Production, Sourcing, Planning, and 3PL partners to move from production readiness to bulk delivery.

You will monitor schedules, manage vendor orders, and optimize freight, customs, and inventory flow while driving on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost targets in a fast-paced global supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, apparel/fashion business or merchandising.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in apparel, consumer goods production management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with overseas factories, particularly in Asia, Central America, or other international manufacturing regions.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, international logistics, inventory flow, vendor management, freight forwarding, customs processes, and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production and logistics execution from production release through final customer delivery, working closely with Pre-Production & Sourcing, Planning, Finance, Operations, Quality Assurance, Customer Care, 3PL partners, and transportation providers.
  • Monitor production schedules, project timelines, critical path milestones, dependencies, and launch timelines to support successful execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, overseas factories, logistics partners, and transportation providers to keep priorities clear and timelines on track.
  • Identify production, logistics, and timeline risks, communicate updates, and support mitigation plans and resolution.
  • Track project status, key decisions, approvals, production requirements, and stakeholder updates throughout the production and logistics process.
  • Support ongoing improvements to production, logistics, reporting, and project management processes.
  • Maintain strong visibility into production status, shipment progress, risks, and operational priorities.

About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Manager, Production & Logistics to help bring baby and children’s products from production readiness through final delivery. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations, partnering closely with Pre-Production & Sourcing to ensure a smooth transition from product development into bulk production. In this role, you will manage and monitor production execution, vendor purchase orders, factory work-in-process, capacity planning, freight, customs clearance, and delivery to distribution centers. You will help ensure products move efficiently through manufacturing and logistics while supporting on-time delivery, cost targets, and company quality standards.

  • Experience with ERP, PLM, TMS, or production and logistics management systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and relationship management skills.
