Luby’s Culinary Services, part of the Pappas family of restaurants, is seeking team members who are passionate about delivering fresh, nutritious meals. We provide customized dining solutions for health care, senior living, corporate dining, and education settings.

The Associate Manager assists with the day-to-day food service operations in a hospital or healthcare facility. The Associate Manager is responsible for the revenue, expenses, profitability, compliance with standards of operations, accounting, and administrative aspects of their location under the direction of the Director. They manage, coach, develop, and lead a team. They build and maintain relationships with colleagues, patients, clients, and customers.

Requirements

• Positive and professional attitude
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age.2+ years contract food service management experience with knowledge of hospital food service and nutrition operations.
• Has a working knowledge of the basic financial aspects of operating the restaurant, the P&L statement, budgets, how cost effect profitability, sales, and management compensation.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Ability to effectively teach, train, manage and lead a team.
