Job summary

Pappas Restaurants is seeking a Dietitian to oversee nutrition care in our healthcare dining settings, including patient assessments and therapeutic diets. This role involves education for patients and families, participation in rounds, and adherence to nutrition policies.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Texas licensure and 1–2 years of clinical acute care experience. We offer flexible scheduling and strong training within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Certification/licensure as required by state of practice (Texas).
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area from a regionally accredited college or university, or foreign equivalent.
• 1-2 years of clinical care in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nutrition care of patients, perform nutritional assessments, and manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Provide nutritional education to patients and families, attend patient rounds, and maintain clinical nutrition policies.
